What do I use cookies for in Lake Resort?
In Lake Resort you can use cookies to give to other furres, to eat, or to play the many games. If you run out of cookies, you can even go fishing for more! |
What are cookies? | |
Cookies are a fun little game-wide exchange and gift currency that last only a day. They show up as a desctag when you are given one. You will have "unmade" or inactive cookies at the start of each day, and you can use typed commands to "bake" your cookies and give them to friends. You can read all about cookies here. |
What do I do with them? | |
You can share cookies with friends, eat them, or use them to play games. Often the DragonSpeak or NPCs in Dreams will request cookies to be able to play a game. When requested, just choose a selection on the pop-up to indicate whether or not you would like to give a cookie (or multiple cookies). |
What is an inactive cookie?
By typing "info" in the Text Input Box, you can see how many active and inactive (unbaked) cookies you have. Type make-cookie |
How many cookies do I get?
Players get three free cookies a day, while Silver Sponsors get 12 and Dream Packages get 48. They will only last a day unless you have a dream with a cookie bank -- then they will last a bit longer. They are generally meant to be used each day though! |
Can I get more cookies? | |
Yes! You can get more cookies in some dreams like Lake Resort through playing games and completing activities such as fishing. Other furres can also give you cookies if you run out. Another way to get cookies is by purchasing them with DragonScales on Digo Market! |
Can I eat cookies? | |
Eating cookies is always a lot of fun. Type "eat-cookie" and one of the cookies from your description will disappear. You will then get a cookie fortune! There's a rumor that no furre has ever gotten the same fortune twice! |
Can I give cookies to friends?
You can give cookies to friends and to furres that help you. They are a great way to say "Hello!" or "Thank you!". Try giving your inactive ("unbaked") cookies away first by typing make-cookie |
Why can't I give cookies to some furres?
If you don't want furres to give you cookies type cookies-off. Some furres do not wish to use cookies and turn that feature off. |
Do cookies work the same everywhere?
Cookies' basic behavior works the same everywhere in Furcadia. In Any Dream you enter cookies can be given, eaten and used in games. However, some dreams allow cookie giving to be seen out loud and some don't. Furthermore, what you do with cookies in different Dreams will change. One Dream might require a cookie to enter a secret area and another might want you to give one to get a prize. |
What is a cookie economy?
A Cookie Economy is what we call the exchange of cookies in Dreams to play games or activate DS. There are special DragonSpeak commands that allow Dream Owners to manipulate cookies and make interesting games and activities. You can do this too with the free tools on the PC version of Furcadia. Here's a page that gives more information about the Cookie Economy. |
Why do cookies look different in some dreams?
One of the ways that Dream Owners can manipulate cookies is to make them be something other than cookies! They can change the cookie graphic to look like a kiwi, for instance, and change the text in the dream to say "You are collecting kiwis". Your cookies will look like cookies again when you leave their dream! |
Can you trade cookies for Scales?
Players can trade cookies to each other for DragonScales if they want to, but there is no official way to trade Cookies in for Scales. You can, however, use Scales to buy cookies on Digo Market. |
What kind of cookies are they?
They are Chocolate Chip Snickerdoodles made from a special recipe! If you want to make them at home you will need to gather 3 kiwi eggs, a cup of ostrix butter, Chocolate flox chips, wisdom tree bark, pongo extract, and wheatberries! |
