If you are having issues getting Furcadia to work right on the iPhone or have some other bug or glitch, you can get help from the Beekin Bugge Hunters. Just type "Help please, I have a bug!" into the Live Help Box. If no Bugges are on duty and a Helper cannot help you, you can go to the Furcadia Forum for help or use this tech support form. |
What if my question isn't answered by the FAQ? | |
There are many ways to get help in Furcadia besides this FAQ. One of the easiest ways is to ask for Live Help from a Beekin Volunteer. You can search the web pages at Furcadia.com or visit our community forums. Try using the Conversation Starters in Lake Resort to indicate you need help or go to the Naia Green Help Center. You can also try just asking other furres and they might be able to help! |
How do I use Live Help? | |
In the upper left corner of the Help Screen is the Live Help Button. There is a Text Input Box where you can type in a brief question. If there is someone on duty, a Beekin volunteer will whisper you back and give assistance to the best of their ability. If there are none on duty, they may whisper you later or you can try using one of the other help resources. |
Who are the Beekin Volunteers? | |
Beekins are community members just like you that give up some of their game time to help others out. They are not compensated in any way except for the appreciation they receive. They are named after the Prime, Beekin the Help Dragon. There are several Beekin groups that each specialize in different sorts of help. Helper Beekins () give basic game play help and will most likely answer your Live Help call. Welcomer Beekins () Greet new players, help them with the commands and show them around. Guardian Beekins () are there to help if someone breaks a rule. Mason () and Pixel () Beekins help with the creation tools for dreams and patches. Scribe Beekins () manage the web pages and Bugge Hunters () help with advanced technical support and bugs in the system. |
How do I tell if someone is a certified Beekin? | |
While you can get help from anyone in the community, it is good to know whether or not the furre you are talking to is a trained Beekin Volunteer. When you "look" at an on duty Beekin, they will have a Beekin Badge at the beginning of their desc! The badge changes according to which Group they are in. |
What sorts of things do Beekins help with? | |
Beekin volunteers are somewhat limited in what they can and are allowed to help with. They can only help with supported game features. They cannot help with any In Character problems, such as being a priest for a wedding. They cannot help with Real Life issues, such as your homework. They also cannot help with issues related to player owned Dreams, as only the Dream Owner has control of the rules in their Dream. Beekins cannot help with any 3rd party software. It should be noted that Beekins may be able to point you in the right direction with the above issues or may go off-duty to help out further. Only Guardians can help with harassment and rule breaking issues. Sales issues need to be taken care of through the ticket system. Keep in mind, as an iPhone user, that most Beekins do not have iPhones and while they are trained to help you, they can't see exactly what you see. |
Why is a Welcomer whispering me? | |
Welcomer Beekins are notified any time a "newfurre" comes to Furcadia and they may whisper you to offer their help in getting you started. They give tours and help you learn the basic commands. They can also help you find an area of Furcadia that best fits your play style. |
Can I get a tour? | |
Anyone can get a tour of Furcadia if a Welcomer has time to give one. Just type "Can a Welcomer please give me a tour?" into the Live Help box. |
Who helps if someone breaks the rules? | |
We give you tools, like the ignore function, to help yourself if you don't like what furres are doing around you. However, for serious harassment and blatant rule breaking, we depend on the community to report to the Guardians. Just type "Help, I need a Guardian please!" into the Live Help Box and one will contact you if they are on duty. If none are on duty, you can email guardians@furcadia.com with your issue. In either case, make sure you take a screen shot of the problem behavior and include your character name in the email along with a description of the problem. To take a screen shot with your iPhone just press the top and front buttons at the same time. |
How do I ignore someone? | |
Some furres will say rude or annoying things to get attention. Giving them attention will only reinforce their bad behavior. The best thing you can do when someone is misbehaving is to put them on ignore. You do this by "looking" at them and then checking the ignore box. |
Is there a place to find Beekins? | |
Naia Green (Found on the Maps Screen) is Furcadia's Community Center and home for on duty Beekins. There is a centralized Help Center and an area for each type of Beekin there. You should also be able to find friendly players to meet and talk to! |
What if no Beekins are on duty? | |
If there are no Beekins on duty or they have too high of a volume of calls to keep up, you have several options. You can wait and ask your question from them another time. You can go to the forums and ask your question there. Many staff and Beekins watch the forums and generally answer questions within 24 hours. You can also try asking those around you, as they may be able to help and you may make a friend in the process! |
Can I join the Beekins? | |
Anyone can apply to be a Beekin volunteer though not everyone is accepted the first time. Make sure you know the subjects for the Beekin Group you are applying for. We usually ask that you play Furcadia at least three months before applying to volunteer. We really appreciate volunteers though and do not require any specific work times or quotas. Do iPhone Furcadia users have a special forum? | |
All of our forums may be of help to iPhone users but we have set up two specific ones especially for you. There is a an iPhone discussion forum here and a iPhone Tech Support forum here. You use the password of the Character you are logged in as to get to the forums. |
What if I have an order problem? | |
If you need help with an order or with any issues Digos or Digo Market, you can fill out a ticket here and someone will answer you in a few days. For simple issues that do not require order numbers and the like, you may be able to get help on the Digo Market forum. |
Help, I've fallen and I can't get up! | |
Swipe upward in the Play Screen to make your furre stand up! If this does not work, make sure your iPhone is on and connected to the internet. If this is a Real Life issue, please leave Furcadia and use your iPhone to call 911! |
