Why animal characters?
Animals transcend race and culture while still feeling familiar and comfortable. They make ideal characters to quickly lose yourself in, as you already know many of their behaviors and traits. While the animal kingdom is full of drama and conflict, their motivations are much less complicated. By drawing on this, Furcadia's community explores the nature of humans through more innocent eyes.

	What is there to do here?
You can make friends from all over the world and even play out stories with them. You can explore the huge, interactive world rich with games, puzzles, quests, homes and clubs, much of which was created by those around you. You can even make your own world by using the free, easy building tools on your PC or Mac at www.furcadia.com.

	I'm playing with other people?
Yes, the characters moving around Furcadia are other people, connected from all over the world. Some are using iPhones and iPads, others are on their computers. Furcadia's players have a wide variety of interests, forming a large and diverse community that's been growing since 1996!

How do I change how my character looks?

Furcadia comes with ten free avatars to choose from, all of which allow you to customize their colors. Check the Character FAQ topic to see how! In addition, as a new iPhone player, you've been given 5 free Golden DragonScales. You can use them to further customize your character by adding wings or changing the whole avatar! New avatars come with special portraits, or you can even add a custom portrait by getting a Portrait Space! Check the Digo Market FAQ topic to find out more.

What is User Created Content?

Furcadia is all about players making cool places and uploading them in game for others to enjoy. This User Created Content varies widely and includes games, quests, clubs, hangouts and much more. Players can create their own art, music, sounds and scripting to easily make these areas we call Dreams exciting and unique places to share with others. They even hold events, have roleplay sessions and form Guilds. To make your own dreams, you can download our free tools for your PC and Mac from www.furcadia.com.

	How do I find games to play?
Lake Resort, the area that you arrived in, has many games for you to play. Bump signs and NPCs to learn how. You can also try walking over some of the glowing portals to find other places all over Furcadia with fun puzzles, games and activities! The Festival Grounds on your Maps button will take you to a seasonal festival that always has fun games to play as well!

	What are the rules?
Furcadia is an easy going community. Generally if you don't do anything to purposefully upset others you will be fine. Try not to be too easily upset by others, and use the ignore option when someone says something that seriously bothers you. You can read a full set of rules in the Terms of Service.

Wait, this is really an MMO on the iPhone?

Yes, Furcadia is an entire world that fits in your pocket! Millions of people have played it over the last decade and a half. In fact, we are the longest continuously running MMO on the net! There's always lots of people connected that you can play or chat with, any hour of day or night.
