Is the download safe? |
| The download is digitally signed, and is tested virus and spyware free. Furcadia will not download any other programs to your computer, only art and music files that are totally safe. Our client software has been used by players for well over a decade now, with no harm to anyone's computer. | |

Do I need broadband to play? |
| No, you don't need it. As with any program, downloads are faster with broadband internet. However, Furcadia has been kept light over the years, so it works quite well even if you have dial-up service. | |

What is different about the PC and Mac versions from the iPhone? |
| Windows & Mac Furcadia are the same world and basically the same game. The map screen and chat window are bigger, with some interface differences. You can also see skins and DragonSpeak buttons, and you will have access to all the editors to create your own Dreams! | |

Am I connected to the same world as my iPhone? |
| Yes, Furcadia has only one world, all run from the same server cluster. Every player on PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch connects to the same world, and all are able to meet and talk to each other in our friendly community! | |

Are there clients for other operating systems? |
| Currently we only support Windows PCs, Macintosh, and iPhone / iPod Touch / iPad. We may develop versions for other platforms in future, and there may be an iPad native version later to use the extra screen space more fully.
